Clearance requirements vary by model. Enter every clearance from the exact manual; no universal clearance is assumed. Changing the model clears the four clearance fields so another machine’s requirements are not reused. You can override published footprint values with confirmed assembled measurements.

Complete all eight fields. Dimensions must be positive; clearances can be zero only if the exact manual permits it. Unverified footprints remain blank.

Measure the installation rectangle before rearranging the room

Selecting a model fills only its recorded overall length and width. Missing footprint figures remain blank, and you can replace a recorded figure with a confirmed assembled measurement. The four clearance boxes belong to the exact model’s instructions. Changing models clears those boxes so you can enter the new requirements; your room measurements remain.

The planner adds front and rear clearance to machine length, then left and right clearance to machine width. For example, a 60-by-24-inch machine with 10 inches in front, 20 behind and 5 on each side needs a 90-by-34-inch rectangle.

“Fits only with a 90° rotation” means that entire clearance rectangle fits when turned. It does not establish that the door, power cord, controls or handler access work in that orientation. Check those on site, along with the delivery route. Review space and noise considerations before treating an arithmetic fit as an installation plan.
